ASTRONOMY

“SN 1604 | Corpo celeste” is a multidisciplinary show engaging adults and children in the discovery of objects of scientific investigation, constantly making questions in order to stimulate curiosity. Science education, theatre and multimedia merge to create a performance able to convey, thanks to the work of the actor, the audio-visual planning and the specific and structured study of lights, the wonder of discovery, the necessity of research, the effort of theory.

Adam was the first man down here
And Yuri Gagarin the first one up there
And all the world looking skyward
Thinks of the man who flew in the blue
Up above in the sky,
In the infinite cosmic space.

Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five
Four, three, two, one. Lift-off.

Here am I floating
’round my tin can
Far above the moon
Planet Earth is blue
And there’s nothing I can do

Growing in numbers
Growing in speed
People they come together
People they fall apart
No one can stop us now
‘Cause we are all made of stars

In all that endless dim light,
where every distance disperses,
looking at that immense silence
man…
gets lost…

astonished by the astonishment: me
a universe of atoms
an atom in the universe.
